Sige is free forever for shopkeepers, tenants, and landlords. No subscription, no Pro tier, no Apple/Google cut. Revenue comes from anonymous market trends shared with food brands — never your personal data. See our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Sige is operated by Sige Software Solutions OPC, a One Person Corporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines (SEC), based in Digos City, Davao del Sur. Contact: dev@van-wouw.com.

2. Who can use Sige

3. What Sige does

Sige is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that helps you keep digital records of your business — sales, customers, utang (informal credit), products, dishes, units, tenants, and similar. It works offline; your data is stored on your phone first, and synced to our cloud database when you are online.

Sige is not a BIR-registered point-of-sale system. Receipt numbering follows BIR sequential format as a help tool. For formal BIR compliance, consult your accountant.

4. Your data

You own your data. We do not sell individual records to anyone, ever. We share aggregated, anonymous trends with consumer-goods brands (DaaS), only after we have at least 10 shops per category per barangay (k-anonymity ≥10 enforced in our database). Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

You can request data export or deletion at any time via Settings → Privacy → Manage my data. We respond within 30 days per RA 10173 (Philippine Data Privacy Act).

5. Free for end users — what's included

6. What we don't promise

Sige is provided "as-is" without warranty. We do our best to keep it running 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Internet outages, Azure cloud incidents, or your phone storage filling up can all interrupt sync. Your local data on your phone is the source of truth — we keep a cloud backup but you should not delete your phone data assuming the cloud has everything.

AI-assisted features (receipt OCR, voice-to-cart, sales recap, recipe suggestions, customer-memory) use Google Gemini. Suggestions are estimates — always review before acting. Sige is not liable for business decisions made on AI output.

7. What you must not do

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Suspended accounts retain a 30-day grace period for data export.

8. Trust Score and reputation

Sige calculates a private Trust Score (0–1000) from your activity — paid utang, completed transactions, verified phone, GPS-validated shop location, etc. Your numeric score is not publicly visible. Other users only see a binary "Sige Verified" badge (yes/no) after we manually review verification proofs. The score may inform future credit features only after we have completed Credit Information Corporation (CIC) registration. See Privacy Policy §Trust Score.

9. Marketplace listings (landlords)

If you publish a unit on the Sige Marketplace, you confirm that:

10. Marketplace inquiries (tenants and visitors)

If you submit an inquiry without an account, you provide your email and name to be forwarded to the landlord. Sige does not act as a broker. We auto-screen inquiry text for scam patterns; flagged messages are reviewed by our team before forwarding.

11. Phone calls between users

Sige hides phone numbers by default ("Salamin" privacy toggle). When a landlord accepts an inquiry and invites you to chat, only then do contact details get shared. You can mask/unmask any phone number visible in the app via the 🙈 button in the top bar.

12. Modifications to these terms

We may update these Terms when laws change, when we add new modules, or when we close known gaps. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes (e.g. paid features, new data uses), we will notify you in the app and via SMS at least 30 days in advance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Davao del Sur. You may also contact the National Privacy Commission (NPC) for data-related concerns: privacy.gov.ph.
